Overview
Automotive felt nonwoven plants are specialized industrial systems used to manufacture nonwoven felt fabrics for automotive interiors and insulation applications. These fabrics are typically made from polyester, polypropylene, or recycled fibers and are widely used for sound insulation, thermal insulation, and cushioning in vehicles.
Working Principle
Fibers (virgin or recycled PET/PP) are opened and blended.
A uniform fiber web is formed using carding or air-laying systems.
The web is bonded using needle punching or thermal bonding processes.
Optional thermoforming shapes the felt into automotive components.
Finished felt materials are cut or rolled for further processing.
